E OPERATOR SOFTWARE for PCB 83643 issue 4

this is an upgrade from previous versions PDECA202, PDECA203, PDECA204

this software version has two main enhancements over previous versions. These are:

• To apply a holding torque to the door motor at the end of the opening cycle. • To select the behaviour of the vane motor at power up.

With previous versions of E operator software, once the doors reached the fully open position, power was removed from the motor totally, and this could lead to the doors coasting in the closing direction slightly under the influence of the landing door closer.

Version 205 allows an adjustable amount of torque to be applied to the motor at the end of opening to keep the doors open.

On door operators fitted with a vane motor for landing door pickup, previous versions of E operator software would cycle the vane motor when power was first applied in order to establish a know position of the pickup vane. On some applications, this initial cycling of the vane motor was undesirable, and so the new software allows this feature to be optionally omitted.
